Perfect World - anyone else play?

I hate this freaking game. It eats up all of my free time, and is WAY too addicting. I've only been playing about four days, and I already have two characters - one at level 13, and the other at level 9. DH has one character at level 14 and one at level 6 - we pretty much switch back and forth and let our little one point stuff out to do, and make all of the decisions.

If you don't know what it is, it's an online RPG much along the lines of Guild Wars. You battle creatures of variying abilities and strengths, complete quests, form squads and factions...or not. You can do whatever you want, really. DH made a new character yesterday (now level 6), and the first thing he did when he came in the game as a total noob was to run up to the first "person" he saw and hug them. He and I both cracked up, and then the guy picked up DHs character and started carrying her all over the town. Eventually he put her down, but we cracked up the whole time, wondering if the guy thought he must be nuts! *lol*

Oh yeah...did I mention the game is free? It takes a while to download (like overnight or longer on high speed), but you can also just order a CD-ROM that they ship to you for $5. We took that option because of our firewall, and it's literally the BEST $5 I've ever spent on a game. WAY fun. Too fun, really.

Not yet, but I've heard so much about it. After following your link and having a good look at it, I think I have to start playing now! (eeek....download in progress) I haven't done something like this since I got through the Baldur's Gate series when I was 17. Thank you very much, BotticelliBabe! <meant in a sincere way, but with wry acknowledgement that I'm going to both enjoy and regret the time I'll spend on it >
Hair: LOTS of fine hair, mainly variations of 2 (FIA), now cut into a just-above-the-shoulder layered bob.

Products: MOP C-System Curl Enhancing shampoo
Original Source conditioners for co-washing and conditioning
MOP C-System Curl Defining Cream
Boots clear gel and/or Joico Joiwhip
Joico Curl Activator on the second day.
The art is so pretty! Does it take a really long time to level up? MapleStory was a nightmare in that department.
2a/M-C/ii hair. Super long.
Nah - you level pretty fast in the beginning, and then it slows incrementally. After playing tonight for a few hours, I took one of my characters from level 9 to 13. so you just have to pay attention to what the game tells you as far as quests and the like if you want to level faster.

And yes, I just now signed off of the game...I played for about 5 hours, and forgot to eat dinner.

I hate that game...in a good way. *lol*

You know, if enough of us start playing, maybe we should form a curly squad! *roflmao*
