i keep the house at about 60F at night when sleeping and when i'm not there - even on the coldest winter nights. i TRY to keep it at 70/71F when i'm home and awake, but sometimes put it up to 75.

i haven't lived here in the summer yet.

I am always (and I mean ALWAYS) hot so I keep my surroundings cool year round. My hubby hates it but he gave up that battle years ago. In the summertime my house feels like a refrigerator inside, or so they say.

At work, somehow I became the one in charge of the thermostat years ago. I do try and be considerate of my coworkers so I keep it a little warmer in the winter and summer than I prefer. I keep the work thermostat right near 70.

I prefer 80-82, but I'm too poor for that. So I keep the house on 62 and heat whichever room I'm in at 80. But I like the same thing in the summer. Then it usually stays mid to upper 80s.

Whew...I'd have to get naked at your house. I start sweating at around 76.

I'd like the thermostat set to 60-65 but that's too cold for my husband and son. The thermostats stays at 68-70.

I'm comfortable inside at about 75.

Unfortunately, my husband is comfortable at 68 so we "compromise" at 70, which means I'm wearing winter clothes and freezing my ass off while he sits around in shorts and a tee-shirt.

Me, too. Unfortunately, DH would prefer to keep it at 60, if I would let him. We generally keep it to 65 at night, and 68 during the day, with me wearing plenty of layers. Lucky for me, we rarely need to use the A/C during the summer. Otherwise, he'd want to keep it just as cold then. Before moving here, I used to spend the summer months in sweatshirts, pulling them off if I needed to go outside.

Yep. Of course I'm cold ALL the time - it could be 110 outside when we leave for the movies and I'll be wearing jeans and sandals, but carrying a sweatshirt, with a pair of socks in my purse.

I'm always cold. If money were no object, I'd keep the heat at 75 all winter.
