Rudee, I forgot about Knishes. Yum. I haven't had a knish in a loooong time. And since you mentioned Brooklyn (my birthplace, too,) Nathan's Hotdogs. There is no other like Nathan's for me.

Also, un-fried, fresh cheese curds are a Wisconsin thing, I think. When they're really fresh, they squeak when you bite into them. They're heavenly!
