Default Reminder: Daylight Savings Time this Weekend

Just a friendly reminder for DST...

Don't forget to spring forward tonight.

Thanks! I would probably have forgotten. DLT is fairly new to me.

I did forget; I'm new at this too (it's only my second year doing it) so thanks for the head's-up.

I hate springing ahead and losing that hour. I wish they would just pick a time and stick with it year round.

UGH! I hate losing that hour. Screws me up in the AM for at least a week, if not two!

I do, however, enjoy "falling back." Except for the year I was working 24 hour shift...that ended up being 25!

I'm the exact opposite. I hate the falling back.

I don't mind the springing forward at all. I just go to bed an hour earlier or sleep an hour later in the morning.

Yeah, I don't have the option of sleeping an hour later. Going bed an hour earlier is a problem too - can't fall asleep!

Already?!? Seems like we just "fell back." Now I'll be screwed up for a couple of weeks.

Glad it's here. I can't wait for the longer days. I'm so sick of winter and want spring. Now.

I like DST. I like having the extra hour of daylight in the evening. Now I'll be able to take the dog for a walk after dinner, while it's still light outside. I just wish that DST was the standard.

Me too. We just started it a few years ago. In addition to the extra sunlight hour, I love not having to try and figure out what time my shows are on. I could never remember if we were on EST or Central, because we'd switch back and forth. What I really hated was if there was a show on right after work or school, when fall DST kicked it, suddenly the show be over by the time you got home. It was so annoying.

Like clockwork, the thing started chirping last night.

I love that we're getting more daylight hours.

First time that I ever forgot. Woke up a little while ago, looked at the cheap clock on my nightstand and saw that it was 7 AM. Walked out into the living room and the clock on my cable box said 8 AM. I, on the other hand, said, "D'oh!"
