For the record, I don't really have a problem with honeycurls' OP. It's not something I would do but when I first saw it I didn't have any kind of reaction.
I DO disagree with Eilonwy's comment about her not being online to defend herself, more so in the tone of it than anything, and on that particular point I agree with M2LR and geeky and I thought M2LR's comment was funny but true. I ALWAYS have an issue with board police. How exactly is that ganging up?

Well my dear cohort Amneris...here is how it is SUPPOSED to work apparently...if you see that I have disagreed or agreed with someone...you musn't respond in a similar fashion. If you agree with someone, you musn't say so or then...I'm afraid...we will have GANGED up on someone. This goes for M2LR and Geeky too. And we CERTAINLY should NOT agree with each other while the OP is NOT logged in.
I hope I have clarified this.

Honestly I've been on opposite sides of things before with pretty much everyone and then again I've been on the same side too with pretty much everyone. Which I think is the same for most people here.

And ITA Amanda... I think after you've been around for a while, you find that you agree and disagree with different people at different times.... or sometimes no one agrees with you.
I actually think there are less cliques on the board now than there used to be, or at least they're not as open. I know I lost most of my clique...  I need a new one...

I didn't agree with the "if she's not online to defend herself you can't talk about her" theory.
It can amount to the same thing, depending on the tone and how it's said. Some posters do have a following, so to speak. And I've been PMd about certain cliques around here. So at least some people believe they exist. No reason to think the posters you mentioned might not belong to a clique.
Not to mention, there are some posters who will agree with nonsense...until someone says, "Come on, guys, this makes no sense." A gang mentality does exist on the board, no doubt.

So you've been PMd to warn you about cliques. How do you know the people PMing you are not in a clique of their own? Cause that sounds like seriously junior high behavior to me "Psst. Yes, you are right. Amandacurls, M2LR, Amneris, Meghuney and I are all in a cleek together. As a matter of fact we are all the same person. We/I have 5 laptops running, with 5 different internet accounts, just to throw you off course. I make my aliasses disagree just to make it seem real. The ongoing bickering between Amneris and M2LR is a particularly brilliant tactic that I have been utilizing for YEARS. Also, occasionally I PM myself to warn myself that myself am part of a clique and up to no good.

I don't mean you specifically...Really, I meant there's no reason to think any one person isn't in a clique. And those that are continually at odds with each other just look like they're in different cliques.
