Any A/V techies?

It's seems I should be able to do this, but haven't figured it out yet. I have some programs on my DVR that I want to copy on DVD with my recoradable DVD player.

Do I need to play the program on my DVR/TV and then record it on the DVD? or is there a faster way to do it?

If your DVR is a typical DVR such as TiVo, from a cable or satellite company, then yes pretty much your only option is to record on the DVD while the program is playing from the DVR's output to the DVD-Rs Input.

You'd need a Media Center PC or something similar to be able to just burn the file to DVD.
