i was getting close to my max on my ipod nano so i've had to deselect songs well today i tried to download a song i guess i pushed it to the max. it said i didn't have enough space so it created a special playlist. i deleted that playlist went back into my music and deselected like 5 songs but now there are no songs on my nano and when i try to sync it just does nothing. so all my music is in my library but it won't sync to my ipod even when i select "sync only checked songs" it looks like it's going to sync but it doesn't. it just says ok to disconnect. what should i do??

Hey, I actually have the same problem, but just the opposite. All my songs are on my ipod but they won't go to my library. If anyone can help us, please do.

Backup your library and then restore.

You might want to actually call Apple....I can look for the number I used. My rep was tremendously helpful and actually got me an iPod for free. Turns out, the firmware goes bad on my model. Apple knows this is an ongoing problem with that model, so they replaced it for me,

oh phoenix, if you would get me that number that would be great. i'll keep it for when i need it. for now i'm good, i checked and rechecked my library, restored my ipod and re-synced. all good!!!

hazelnut, i found a thread on the apple site forum about the problem you seem to have. go there and find your ipod model and type "sync" and look around. you for sure want to get your songs on your library because if something happens to your ipod you'd be screwed...
