Diana Barry submitted a story written by Anne to a certain company for a contest and edited her story to match.. what company was it?

Changing the direction of this thread...does anyone else hate the 3rd Anne movie? I have it on dvd because I like a few of the scenes between anne and Gilbert but I hate the storyline! It ruined Anne for me. I just adore the books and annes life as a mother and their family home together- thats what I wanted to see in the films not this weird war story. I enjoy the 2nd film, but Im wary of parts of that too- because I love Annes times at Redmond university and they skipped this completely and Roy Gardner and out in a weird love interest with that really old man! I tend to skip those parts and just watch the scenes with gilbert in!
Question (even though not my turn!) How did Gilbert get Anne to agree to go to the concert with him?

I think a lot of people hate it! I'm like you, I love some of the Anne and Gilbert scenes, but I really wish they had followed the books!
And it personally upsets me to see Anne with another man in ANY WAY.
I do like the end when the little boy is sitting at the train station the same way Anne was when Matthew came for her!
Apparently (I think this is the story?), Kevin Sullivan waited so long in between the 2nd and 3rd movies because then Lucy Maud Montgomery's estate lost control over the story and he could do whatever he wanted with the 3rd? Which he did!

Once again, I am playing the scene in my head and I can't quite answer the question...but Anne is struggling with bags and Gil picks her up in his carriage, and he knows she's reciting a poem, and Anne says, "My life's an open book, I see!"

Me too!!!!!!
I reread Anne of the Island on the train last night! I love that one! It's funny HOW MANY QUOTES are WORD-FOR-WORD also in the movie, but said by different people in different situations! Did you notice that?
Now I'm wondering if Jonathan Crombie was in town because he's doing another play in the area...if so, I say we have an nc.com gathering and go see him! haha.
