What's your favorite natural hair color?

I have to represent... my favorite is red.

Hated it as a child, but wouldn't change it now for the world.

I picked black.

Because I have black hair.

I'm charismatic.

I'm funny.

And apparently, I'm full of myself.

so if blonde hair is the least favorite shade second only to gray, why is it such a popular color for those who color their hair

Hmm... there aren't that many blondes on the board, are there? It seems like there are more brunettes and redheads.

The most beautiful hair color I've seen was on a little girl with auburn hair.

I didn't answer the poll though, I think every natural hair color has at least one beautiful shade to it.
my blog
Dark brown all the way! I appreciate dark brown on men and women. If I could have any color hair I want, I would definitely chose dark brown. My mom has dark brown hair but apparently I didn't get that gene! DH has dk brown hair and I am jealous!

That's a very good question. It's pretty rare to see a good artificial blonde color, yet it's so popular.

I have dark brown hair, and tried like crazy to go blonde when I was a teenager, but it always turned red instead. So, I went with the red, and I never get tired of it.
Brown, just brown. I guess there are varying shades of brown, but oh well.

I love naturally black hair. My hair is dark brown and I always wish it was just a few shades darker.

Dyed black hair just doesn't look the same, I find it looks too harsh.
If you got nothing to bring to the table - don't even bother sitting down.
Brunette appeals to me the most. I don't know if it's because I'm a brunette, but I think chocolate brown is the most beautiful shade. Mine is naturally more of a yucky mouse brown (light brown). I am really attracted to guys with blonde hair and blue eyes though - I've heard that opposites attract as far as hair and eye color go.

Sorry to bring this thread up from the lurch. I came across it and just had to reply.

I know the color you were given is usually best, but not in my case. I'm too fair-complected for the mousy brown. I don't think my natural color suits anyone.

I'm not sure if I have a favorite, although I prefer red on me. I just like it when a color looks realistic and suits the coloring of the person wearing it. Seeing a redhead with a fake dark beachy tan strikes me as odd as it doesn't "match" to me. Seeing a redhead who is naturally darker is different as that usually looks good. It's just when one part of the coloring is too fake that I notice.
Kiva! Microfinance works.

Med/Coarse, porous curly.
I'm the lone supporter of gray, because silver has always been my favorite color . I also love naturally platinum blonde hair, because it looks so unusual.
