The weather has only been in the high 40's here last week and wearing that thing made me soo hot.
I may give the "step in and pull up" one, perhaps that one will stay in place more. If you get one let me know how it goes. My other question was what size to get because they are SOOO tight that I went with the large, perhaps I just got too big a size as most of my shirts are Med or Large.

3b/c mix; mixture of fine, med. and coarse texture with med-high porosity

Current HG routine: Tresemme Naturals conditioner; AG Fast Food LI; AG Recoil; CJ CIAB = no crunch, lots of body and awesome definition

One of the joys of being a female is belly fat. When I'm thin, I look like a 12 year old. But any weight gained goes directly to my middle.

A couple of years ago a neighbor stopped me and asked when I was due. I said, "EXCUSE ME???" And she just goes, "well you're pregnant right?" I just stood there with my jaw on the floor.

I also got it last semester from a teacher, no less. She didn't even apologize. I was wearing the dreaded babydoll top. As soon as I got home I threw it away.

I'm sorry that you had to deal with this. It sucks.

The little bars inside did nothing to hold things in, just make interesting bumps under my clothes. And unfortunately I had no choice when it came to length. When I was sitting it was pushing up on my bra and down on my legs. Eventually the bottom started curling up giving me more bumps. And worst yet, it didn't even make that big of a difference. I looked better and thinner just sucking my stomach in.

I'm not sure if it was just that brand or what. But I figured I would give you a heads up on what to look out for.

Ugh! Some people have absolutely no tact!

Someone told me this once and I think it a good rule : unless you physically see the baby come out, never under any circumstances ask a woman if she is pregnant!

Alternatively, let her mention it first.

I cannot believe anyone would have the nerve to ask such a question.

I am so sorry you got asked that question!! Some people just don't know how to behave in public !! Arrgh! I have never been asked that, but once a cousin and I were at my aunts place and we had some guests. My aunt introduced us and then goes "this is the neice that I told you was expecting" and then looks in my direction, and says "not her, the other one". This was just after they walked in. And this was right before my cousin was due. I actually had lost weight that time. Of course I am not saying that someone may not have thought that. I am fairly small and the weight goes straight to my stomach when i put on pounds. But there was no need for her to point it out and in that tone !

I felt shattered ! Especially to think that a family member would say that and in such a mocking tone! I was almost in tears, but I had to swallow them because the guests were there.

I think one thing that people don't realize is that when you put on weight, you're the first to know, you don't need someone to point it out to you, and especially not in that way.

Don't ask unless you're sure the person is pregnant!

I am so sorry that happened to you!
