I love podcasts. I listen to them while I'm at the gym; less jarring than music.

"Wait, Wait -- Don't Tell Me" is good. So is "The Moth." The first is on NPR, the second I'm not sure (I found it on iTunes). Both are free.

Happy listening

Most of mine are religious. Not sure if you'd be interested in those.

I also listen to Fresh Air (NPR) and some other public radio stuff like Car Talk and Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me.

I downloaded Coffee Break Spanish, but I haven't started listening to them yet.

Mine are pretty boring, LOL!

Uh oh. This one interests me. I love their exhaustive approach to making everything. Are you incredibly hungry by the end of the podcast? I found an old issue of their magazine at the gym once, and read it while riding a bike. By the time I was done, I'd memorized the recipe for chocolate mousse, and went home and make a big batch.

So much for that workout!

Sorry to guano, Deedles.

They're getting rid of "Caller of the Week." What a bummer.

I forgot about that one! They're too short, though.

ninja dog - The Cook's Illustrated is a video podcast and is usually 3 - 5 minutes long. Like you, I like how they approach the whole process. Many of the recipes look delish and even if I'm never going to make the dish, I do enjoy just watching.

It's run by the guys from howstuffworks.com. They take random questions/topics like "What's a Ponzi Scheme?", "Are there dead bodies on Mt. Everest?", "Is the world going to end in 2012?", and explain them.

It's always really interesting to me, but then again I love trivia and useless facts.

1) The pup in your avatar is cuh-yute!

2) I know. Why? The final one was last week's, right? I haven't listened to it yet.
