I have a question for the pool pee-ers...
Doesn't it embarrass you when people see a trail of yellow from you in the pool?
That is all.

ive often drink when swimming. i must have a small bladder b/c even after half can of beer i feel the urge to purge. like ive said its when i dont think i can make it to the bathroom that i let go. as for your question unless you're standing next to peepool peeing and staring at their crotch its really difficult to see. ofcourse if you're in a pool and staring at anyone's crotch you have other issues.

You know, when you think about it, pee is nowhere near as disgusting as spit and snot. It's sterile, at least (assuming no UTI's). If I were inclined to be germ-phobic, I could seriously freak myself thinking about all the microbes coming out of people's noses and mouths that I'm swimming in.

This might be a record for a thread that I've started. Mine don't usually go so long.

I love this thread. It's hysterical to me that moms are so uptight about this peeing thing when their kids are so generally disgusting anyway. They have horrible hygiene and are petri dishes for germs, their quarter cup of pee is probably the cleanest thing about them.
I've seen kids in the shallow end sneeze and mom just wipes them down with pool water, big ol' boogers going into the pool with everything else. Hell, I've seen babies puke in pools.
Peeing is NOTHING compared to what you see with goggles. I've worn goggles at the pool very few times because I couldn't stand seeing the bandaids, dead bugs, dead spiders, chunks of hair, etc. floating around. And still I love to swim, in spite of all the grossness. I also press elevator buttons and open doors with my hands and all kinds of crazy gross things.
Not only do I pee in the pool, and the ocean, and sometimes the hot tub, but I do it in the shower AND sometimes the tub!
As for justifications, meh. But I will say it started as a kid when it was so hard to get a freaking wet suit off in those disgusting pool bathrooms, and then hover over a toilet seat, and then wipe a wet butt with wet hands with wet TP, and then pull your suit up again. Please. Just pee in the pool.

in above the waist water no one really notices and if you walk and pee at the same time it mixes with the water quicker and no one is the wiser

just wanted to pop in to see why this thread is so long. i've only read this page and i'm shocked to see that people pee in anything other than a toilet.
umm, they have bathrooms at the beach and at public pools.
not trying to get into anything with anyone but if you can manage not to pee on yourself outside of the water you can control yourself in the water. peeing in the pool, ocean or shower is nasty.

Not only have I seen kids sneeze into the pool, but I have seen Moms TELL their kids to "blow" into the pool when their nose is running.
As for the bathroom situation, yes, THAT is exactly why I avoid pool "facilities."

people. we do it on purpose. we are lazy and believe no one is being hurt by it. until they identify a pool pee disease we will continue doing it. way more people do it than are admitting it and this is only a miniscule section of the pop posting here at nc.com. If u swim in a pool youve been swimming in pee for years. we just alerted u to the fact that thats whats happening.
your welcome

i'm saying! the preposterousness of people peeing in public pools on purpose!
i also wonder if these pool peers also urinate in private, backyard pools that belong to friends and relatives.

Case in point why I NEVER go to public swimming pools. That's so gross! That stuff gets in your eyes, your hair, your mouth!
*shudder*
Thanks to this thread, I'm reaffirmed my decision to never step a foot near a public pool again!

I really don't. Mostly because I rarely swim in friends/neighbors' pools. You can't really swim in backyard pools...only bob around. I don't really enjoy bobbing very much.
