my girlfriend's sister had 5-7 large fibroid cysts removed from her that ranged from the size of grapefruits to the largest being the size of a small roasting hen. her doctors took photos of them and let her see them. they were humungous. she always thought that she was just a tall, large woman. she said she often felt bloated, but dismissed it as her knowing that she didn't eat well and wasn't active or fit. she was never in pain, but had abnormal bleeding during and between her periods, which is what made her get seen by her doctors. she had no clue that she had cysts that large growing inside her. after they were removed, she looked so slender that her clothing was literally hanging off her. it's possible for people not to know that a lot of things are growing inside them, especially when they happen over time and not overnight. ew. the image of her fibroids makes me want to .

Default oh that show

It is very hard for me to think that someone would not know they are pregnant, but if they are obese, well I guess it could happen. But I hope that when I start a family(In like 15 years!! I am only 16) I will notice the signs. But just think, you go to the bathroom to take a dump and a baby comes out! ME MUERO!!

I had a friend that this happened to...she was like 6 months when she found out. She was gaining a little weight around her middle...

I haven't seen the show, but maybe I should watch it. Sounds interesting. I can see how a baby moving feels like gas, because at first it does. But when that baby is full term and rolls around? Aaaaack!

My aunt didn't know her 8th child was on the way until she delivered him at the hospital. She was already in her mid 40's, so she contributed wacky periods to possible menopause. She is also large and no one noticed much weight gain in her at all.

I was skeptical. Wouldn't you know after 7 children? I can understand maybe the the 1st and 2nd time.

I used to be fairly sceptical about these stories until it happened to a good friend's brother's girlfriend. The girl was a trained nurse and had no idea she was pregnant until she had terrible stomach cramps and asked her dad to take her to the ER. She delivered her baby boy an hour later. Luckily they were both healthy, but it was quite a shock for the whole family. All ended well and the couple have now been happily married for fifteen years (and added to their family in a more planned way)
