Favorite Fall/Winter Clothing?

I love slouchy leather/suade boots and some skinny jeans. Grey is a good colour this season.

I love the look of boots and skinny jeans, but not on me! I'm too curvy for that: it makes me look like I have a badonkadonk!

Add to my list: Dresses! I've been sporting the jeans-and-tshirt thing for far too long. I wanna look classy and fun, not sloppy and boring.

I can't decide if this tunic is super cute or just kinda weird - will have to see it in person before i can decide.

Curse you, Anthropologie. I can't afford nice things

I love a good courderoy jacket in the fall, and, of course, boots! I love sweaters, too, though I have to pick really lightweight knits. Chunky knits + chunky woman=yikes! I'll just be glad to wear jeans again. It's too hot to wear them in the summer, and capris and shorts are not my best look (too short!).

I just got a new belted trenchcoat I'm looking forward to wearing!

Sweaters

Boots

Tights

Scarves
I think the general rule is to cover half the butt to minimize. At least that's what I recall. And something about your purse being the same size as your butt...I need a bigger purse.

---PEACOATS!!! (Although I don't own one)

---thick, cable knit tights

---woolen plaid skirts

---big cozy sweaters

---corduroy anything

---hats and berets

---boots of all types

I found this BEAUTIFUL vintage wool trench coat in bright red at the Goodwill this summer. The lining is torn in spots, but otherwise it looks barely worn. It is just the brightest candy apple red.

I also love this look--sweater, scarf, long wool-ish tweedy plaid skirt, cable knit tights and penny loafers. I'm just weird that way, I guess......I love a "bookish" look and lots of vintage stuff.
I love fall clothes!

Especially:

Pretty, (fitted) knit sweaters.
Cozy boots
NEW, dark wash jeans (especially skinny jeans. I recently realized I can pull them off. Score!)
Fuzzy socks for laying around the house
Long, belted jackets and coats
Well fitting, long sleeved t-shirts
Matching scarves and gloves
Puffy vests
Skirts and dresses with leggings/tights
Hoodies! Lots and lots of hoodies...

I could probably keep going for a while!

I almost wish it was fall already!

My boots.
A wonderful mix of coils, curls, corkscrews, and kinks.

I love wearing boots and also layering wrap cardigans over vest tops. Mind you this summer has been so random weatherwise that I have been wearing them a bit the past few months anyway!

Yeah I've started yearning for fall and I'm not even a clothes horse. The possibilities are calling. It doesn't hurt that jeans and darker clothing make me look leaner and slimmer than white clothing and stuff that reveal legs. There are so many more fashion opportunities.

I miss my brown ankle boots. Can't wear them during summer becuase they are leather (or pleather) and completely out of place plus they look best with pants.

I miss jeans, which I can't wear here during summer without dying of heat stroke. It's in the 100's every freaking day.

I tried to wear my black long sleeved shirt the other day I was so starved for black and long sleeves. I overheated.

I got a really cute LBD the other day which looks best in cold weather. I also got a brown and gray dress around the same time which look best in winter paired with some tights. I miss tights as well.

I miss my leopard print plush knee length coat. It goes with my eclectic style so well and looks great at my height (ie very short).

I miss layering in general. The look of a knit henley under a sweater where it peeks out. And then a fabulous coat over it it. Or vests. And then the creatively of it all- The look of pairing random articles of clothing together in your closet and realizing you got the perfect outfit. And the right pairing makes an article of clothing you've had for forever appear fresh and new.

I miss my leather coats.

The only thing keeping me in summer is that I just bought a new pair of of flowery espadrilles wedges which will soon become too open toed to wear in the frosty weather:

I also found some flowery colorful knee length skirts I forget about in the back of my closet. I need to find an ocassion to wear those before fall hits.

I'm looking forward to wearing my new hoodie. Also, I can hardly wait until I can wear my boots again! They're chocolate brown and I love them! My feet are wide so they're pretty much the only shoe I can wear besides sneakers, and I've been wearing nothing but sneakers all summer.
3A, medium fine. Currently avoiding shampoos, 'cones, 'xanes and sulfates. Hair length - a bit beyond BSL. Mostly CG since July 2, 2008.
I bought a leather jacket (fake leather, as I am a poor college student - looks real though!) when I was staying in Germany this summer and found it to be much colder than I expected. When I wear it with jeans I think it makes me look a little bit too "biker chic" for my tastes, so I've been trolling thrift stores for cute dresses/skirts to wear with it.

Last year my mom bought me some slouchy leather cowboy boots for Christmas: http://www.aldoshoes.com/us/women/bo...04699-marrs/28. I have them in Congac and love them. Can't wait to bust them out again.

Also, layering thin tops. I can't wear too many heavy knit sweaters as it makes my chest look too big.

I'm afraid to go to the mall, though! I've been in the process of losing some extra weight, and at only 5'3" I can sometimes drop a size in only two or three weeks. So I'm trying not to expand my wardrobe too much (even though I need new clothes, ha)
