Default Favorite Fall/Winter Clothing?

I'm getting antsy looking at all the cute Fall clothing coming out in stores already! What pieces of clothing are you most looking forward to wearing when the weather cools down? I personally can hardly wait to wear my green pea coat with the purple silk flower pin on the lapel. And don't get me started on scarves; I have at least ten long shawl-type scarves in turquoise, burgundy, burnt-orange with blue and gold embroidery, emerald green, chocolate brown with embroidered vines....

Here's my Fall clothing shopping list (hypothetical, of course, because I'm a broke college student):
- long belted cardigan in black or charcoal grey
- cute blouses & tunics in saturated colors
- layered shirts & sweaters
- boots
- flats in fun colors/designs
- duffle coat, though I've never been able to find one that looks as good as what I imagine one should look like

Post your Fall clothing lusts here! Pictures/links encouraged!

I love wearing the belt tie sweaters over my tank tops and such for fall.

I also love my LL Bean vest.

Opera, I'm with you on the scarves. I loooooove scarves. I wear them nearly year round but have to cut them out for summer here. It's one good thing about having a cool spring this year. I can't wait until it gets cool enough to start wearing them again.

I can't wait to pull out my trench coat again.

I'm with burgundy - boots!

I bought a pair of killer black high heel boots in June. Be October before it's cool enough to wear them but I keep looking at them longingly in my closet.

I love slouchy leather/suade boots and some skinny jeans. Grey is a good colour this season.

I bought a turquoise scarf from Old Navy, it's more for fashion than warmth.

I got these: http://www.dsw.com/dsw_shoes/catalog...-_-main-_-main

Sweaters. Sweaters. Sweaters.

I also want to be able to wear pants and jeans without feeling sticky.

I need a coat!

I've got a fall wishlist a mile long!!

I need 2 pairs of boots this fall, as I have worn out my favorites. I need a new pair of ankle boots and taller, casual ones.

I love sweaters and will always snap up a couple of cashmere ones.

I would like to replace my leather jacket as mine is looking a little dated.

A nice wool or wool blend dress that I can wear with tights and boots.

That's just for starters!

Where do you get your tights?

And do you know where I can buy some for bigger women. I am a size 12 or 14. I want tights that don't show skin... like they are too tight, or thin like pantyhose.

IfI were female I woudl be so into the knee high socks with wool skirts, tall boots and scarfs.

As it is I will have to settle on the loose fitting corduroy pants and then on Sundays, a form fitting Under Armour shirt with a Titans jersey over the top. I love that shirt.

I would be too if I were 100lb!

Why do you have to be 100lbs to wear that?

Knee high socks are really draw attention to your thighs and if they're too tight you get a bulge.
100lb was a bit of an exaggeration but I mean I wouldn't wear them unless I was a 2-4 (i'm a 6 right now which is like my heaviest so it's a no-go for me)
I was really only joking that's why I did the wink - to each their own. If you wanna wear it and you feel good in it, whatever it may be - go for it!

I see.

I don't know if I'd personally wear it, and I am much bigger than you. But it's just more of I don't know if I could pull it off.

I've worn tall boots and skirts but never knee high socks, they remind me too much of when I was little.

It makes me happy that you also spell "grey" instead of "gray."

I love the look of boots and skinny jeans, but not on me! I'm too curvy for that: it makes me look like I have a badonkadonk!
