Name That Puppy! * * (he's here!)

Aww, congratulations on bringing your new little guy home. Our Heidi cried the first night, too. She wasn't in a foster home, but she was used to being with her littermates, then other dogs, at the adoption center. It also took a couple days for her true personality to come out, once she got more used to us...watch out.

Have you decided on a name?

Now he is very quiet and reserved, probably lonely. But he'll adapt, as will we.

No decision on names yet, I think we need to wait until he is himself again. But after last night, maybe these apply: Yapper, Yelper, Brat! Or Coyote, since he yipped and howled like one.

We're loving all these names so far! Lots of choices.

Cooper!

He's adorable. Whatever you name him
What a pretty brindle coat . . . I always find the name comes to me once I meet the dog. Have you decided yet?

I thought "Boo" or "Boo Radley" just because his ears make him look sort of startled.

And "Dragonfly" really isn't bad, if you called him "Fly." That's a good short name to call with . . .

Oh, and he has a really long thin tongue!

In searching breeds online, he may be part Basenji. http://www.dogguide.net/basenji.php
