in a way, i think the media should just stop saying his name because he's getting WAY more attention than he deserves....which is what drives him!

I wish everyone was talking about Janet's dance tribute to Michael Jackson instead! That was great.
Regarding Obama's "jack*ss" comment, I don't think HuffPo can do too much high-and-mighty bashing of that a**hole journalist, since they saw fit to reprint his deleted tweet.

So what if they reprinted it, they aren't the ones that went against their word.
And he is a *******.

I'm not a President Obama fan, but I certainly agree with him on his stance on Kanye!! Also, if I were Kanye and the President thought I was a *******...I'd be pretty ashamed of myself. I hope he's sincere, but I'm just over his stunts, then apologies.

You can hear Obama call Kanye a jacka$$ now because the tape has leaked:

It's pretty funny.

I love Obama. He seems like a really down to earth kind of guy. That journalist is a J@ckass.

Obama = Awesome
Reporter = not cool
Kinda glad I got to hear it, though.

Kanye was wrong for interrupting Taylor, although we are all entitled to our own opinions, publicly stated them is not always a good thing. She is a young artist and I feel sorry for her because that was a really embarrasing moment. I feel that Kanye is probably sorry now for making the comment, but he really needs help. I know that he was real close to his mother and not having her around has probably really hurt him on the inside and outside. It was very evident on The VMA award show & The Jay Leno show.

I loved Obama's audio but thats the last thing Kanye West needs to hear, the President of the USA making reference to him.
I'll give it six weeks before a new track is leaked by Kanye where he mentions the president and the VMA stunt he pulled. I am completely over him as a person, artist, "fashion designer", and whatever else he ventures into.
His apology on Leno was a load of crap. If he was really ashamed and wanted to change his ways than he would seek professional help because clearly his way of dealing w/ his anger is NOT working.
He did the same song and dance when he stormed out of the AMA's after Gretchen Wilson won best new artist instead of him. He questioned her music and the voting process of the awards committee because something must not be right unless he wins. A few years later he stormed the stage at the music awards in Europe because Just-Ice won over him. He went on a b*tch trip again and complained that his video should have won over theirs because his cost a million dollars to make and Pam Anderson was in it......seriously Kanye? I am too through w/ him!!!
I'll give it 2 years before he does something like this again.

Highly unprofessional of that journalist...that's one of the biggest things my Journalism professors harped on, what is understood to be off the record should definitely stay off the record.
But it's a nice change to really agree with my President on something.

Watching the whole thing was just unreal. How on earth could he have thought that was an appropriate thing to do? She's 19 for cryin out loud...still really a child. And watching Jay that was the most uncomfortable thing ever. But really how much time is he going to take off here. It's the middle of September and he's going on tour with Lady Gaga in November-sure time off....ha!

At first I thought President Obama should be more careful but agreed with him. Then I thought the same as you two -- if the Preident called me a jack***, I would find that the ultimate worst embarrassment. That's pretty bad when someone that high comments that your actions were in that poor taste.

I heard that she didn't continue after he gave her the mike back because she thought the booing was for her - she thought the audience was agreeing with him and booing her.

Oh that's just horrible, that he caused that kind of doubt in her!! Personally I don't care for her music or her persona, but obviously she has fans and that sucks that his boneheaded move made her doubt herself. That sucks.
And I maintain that I agree with Obama, that there's no reason he shouldn't have said it, and that the journalist is the one who screwed up, not him.
