oh my, he's so serious. not jokey jokey but he seems TROUBLED!! he apologized but urgh. leno asked what his mom would say. he got real quiet. said he's going to take some time off after this to think about things. still rings (it's all about me). I WANT TO APOLOGIZE, I WANT TO SAY I'M SORRY, I , I , I.....

OBVIOUSLY, i duno mr. West. but someone close to me is a heavy pot smoker and he has these kinds of out-lashes. and then they apologize and they are totally sincere and really want to take back their actions. ive told this person that they should get some kind of counseling. but with no ins. there is only so much this person can do. i think Kanye has something really wrong with him! yea, he does jerk stuff. but his outbreaks are more like, middle-child-syndrome-ish. not just with the Taylor swift, but what ever award that was that he didnt win he threw a fit. and also, when he didnt open for some act a while ago, he also threw a fit.

maybe i'm reaching. but i dunno. i didnt see the Leno show... so i dont know if he's really sincere in his apology. i just hope he can get it together!!!!!

Isn't this sort of Kanye's MO? He shows his ass, is rude as hell, says whatever he wants, then goes around making all these "heartfelt" apologies? Jerkface.

thats what i thought.

i saw him on leno and i thought his apology was complete and total bull****e. and his imaginary tearing up when leno mentioned his mom was over the top too.

he acts like that because he can. and what makes it so bad is that his music is good, so thats why he gets to stick around. i heard talk about banning him from all awards ceremonies, but i dont know how true that is...

I saw Leno and it was really awkward and I am not sure that it was real....I cannot tell. I mean I do not know the guy so it could have been heartfelt. But I do know - it was AWKWARD!!

I loved Jay's question about his mom, to be honest. It pulled that wall down he always puts up and really made him think about what he did. I didn't buy his half-hearted apology. Just PR.

There is no way a talk show host, who wants to book famous people on his show, would ask something as personal as that without either being told to or getting an ok for it first. It just wouldn't happen. It was staged.

That part of the conversation was supposed to be off the record though, so they deleted it.

It's funny, but I feel like that's a hit to the reporter's credibility. If the pres. can't trust you to keep trivial stuff off the record, how can he trust you with the big stuff?

I know pot smokers too and none of my friends have outbursts like this....so it's not the pot its the personalities they have. Sounds more like your friend has way bigger issues and is using the heavy drugs to press them down.

Kanye really needs to take this time and figure out how to grow as a person....outside help if needed....but if he doesn't he'll just be the one hurt in the end. I think his apology is as sincere as he can muster right now. I think it was weak too but maybe that's were he is mentally right now. Boy needs help.

i think as rudeechick mentioned on the vma thread kanye has some serious narcissist tendencies. i read a lot about that because i felt like i was involved with one. it's like nothing ever. i agree that profile seems to fit kanye. as i mentioned on the other thread. everything i read points to narcissists do not change!!

Plain and simple, Kanye needs to be either banned from public events like the VMAs or put into a different section where he will not be able to pull more stunts such as this.

In short, he needs to be on an industry wide time-out until he learns how to behave.

Watched Taylor Swift on The View this morning and as of
11:40am est he has made NO attempts to contact her.
Not through a text, a voicemail, or through her publicist.
Something tells me that if Kanye really, really, really wanted to get ahold of Taylor, he could do it quite easily.
