Default need energy...

yesterday I took one of those one a day weight smart and I felt great. But i had a really hard time sleeping, mind you I only took a half of a vitamin.
I have been soooo tired lately, now granted I have pretty much been sick the entire month.
Yesterday my hubs said i looked better and that lately i was looking really run down ( really think it was the vitamin). And for my hubs to make a comment like that to me (he knows better) I must have REALLY been looking run down
What do you do for energy? I drink coffee already. I feel the one-a-days are just too strong for me, but i loved the extra lift i had all day. I felt good and vibrant. I didn't feel speedy just normal.

Weight Smart has guarana in it, that's probably what interfered with your sleep.

Honestly, I don't think that caffeine and other "energy" supplements really are much help. They give you a temporary boost, but then you crash. And they can interfere with sleep, as you have noticed.

Good food, exercise, and adequate sleep are the best thing for energy, in my experience.

And how is your iron? If you're feeling rundown, get that checked - I am prone to anemia and it can wipe me out.

regular exercise will definitely help. plus you told us you were pretty sick recently with the sinus infection--that can really wear you down for quite some time.

thanks everyone.
Yeah, I know about the guarna in the vitamin. I was just hoping i could take them again

and yep, had an awful sinus infection. So maybe that is what this lack of energy is all about.

Just worked out on the Wii and i feel awesome. Burned 140 calories. Whoo hoo. Damn it takes a lot to burn just one calorie, really.

I totally agree.
also, check your iron and perhaps your thyroid (you never know). how long have you been feeling wiped out? probably still recovering from your sinus infection. take care!

Check your vitamin levels. Lack of vitamin B is often a culprit as is lack of iron. Do you get sick or tired a lot? Do you have other symptoms?

No I really don't get sick a lot. This month was very rare.
I think I have some vitamin B. I'll start taking it again.

I'm on lexapro which tends to make one sluggish. I'm also on wellbutrin. I was taking SR and then went to regular Wellbutrin (no SR) now i'm taking SR again and seen to feel better?!?!??!

hope you feel better soon, it's no fun feeling sluggish and tired all of the time.
