That was adorable! I love to think about what I'd do in these kinds of things, and I think this is the first time I have a sure answer. I don't even have to factor in the fact that I was always patient as a kid. With my extreme susceptibility to daydreaming and my small appetite, I know I would've just stared the wall imagining something cool during that experiment! The researcher might've had to tap me on the shoulder to remind me to eat the two marshmallows, though. Perhaps they would've thrown out my results because I wasn't technically "there."
Interesting the kind of future study traits that are shown just in a little kid's behavior around a marshmallow. If I were a teacher, I'd be watching the ones that tried to be sneaky about it! "Just a little bit here and there, they won't notice..." The eat-all-around-the-edges girl was cute. I wonder how old she was.
