Thank you for bringing up the copper IUD!! Color me ignorant but I didn't know there were non hormonal, non barrier methods out there. I've done a bit more research on that as well. I'm going to a new gyno in about a month for my first annual in two years (I missed one year and then my insurance lapsed while I was unemployed) and will certainly discuss it and other options with her.
