And how adorable was Kristin Chenowith? I love her anyway, and she was so utterly and genuinely surprised, and then she burst into tears. LOOOOVE her!
LOVE HER!!! And I love how she said, "I don't know why I'm crying..."
I am very easily moved at these things, even if I'm not connected to anybody involved. I was sitting with my mom, bursting into tears every ten minutes at the Tony's, and she looked at me and went, "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?" "I have no idea! It's just all so lovely!"
I am exhausted.. shouldn't of stayed up watching the Emmy's.. I do not do well on 51/2 -6 hours of sleep
that being said.. here are my quick comments!
Even though I never really watching "Pushing Daisies" ever I am super excited for Kristin Chenoweth she looked floored that she won.. I love how she was offering her acting services to 24, Mad Men, and other shows!! cute!!
I think Neil Patrick Harris was a great host.. 2 thumbs up for him.. I was sitting with a friend watching and I was commenting about how is was gay and she was shocked.. had no idea! and I really liked how they broke up the Emmy's into sections... Comedy, Reality, Mini-Series, and Drama..
Biggest Rob of the Night... NO WAY IN HELL did Alec Baldwin deserve best actor for 30 rock! should've gone to Jim Parsons from Big Bang Theory! are the Emmy voters nuts... they need to be slapped! for gosh sakes I would even have settled for Charlie Sheen, give it to someone who hasn't won for god sakes!! for example Jon Cryer won for Supporting Actor!
Loved the memorial for the folks who have passed on with Sarah McLauglin singing "I will remember you..." PERFECT!
Dumb skit of the night... Jimmy Fallon! nuff said.. I didn't get it and I don't get him!
I think that's it... all in all good show they need to bring back neil next year!
