Default Facebook problems?

Someone wrote asking me to let her back on & readding me saying she didn't know how we got removed from each others list/page in the first place.

Then I was chatting & next thing I know it looked like the person signed off but when I sent her a text she said the feature must have frozen.

Has anyone else had any problems like these on Facebook or is my chain being yanked?

FB has been wonky all week. It keeps eating my comments.

I have had no success using the chat feature on Facebook. I can recieve a message, can type a response, but can't figure out how to send it. Otherwise, I don't think I've seen any problems.

I wouldn't make any assumptions about a friend's behavior based on something that happens on FB. FB isn't that stable, a lot of stuff goes missing, it's just wonky all the time.

Plus, it's online communication, which can be trouble. Even without technical difficulties, up to 93% of communication is nonverbal and FB can't deliver on that.

If this is a friendship you really value, give them a call and clear it up. Or, if possible, arrange to meet them in person.

WH is right -- FB isn't very stable. A friend had chat freeze up when we were "chatting;" she had to send me a message instead. I'm constantly losing stuff, then it comes back . . . it's kind of crazy.

Yep, I keep seeing status updates on my FB feed from people I know but haven't added to my friend list...I also agree that the chat is very unstable.

Also I have found that FB is more reliable using Firefox rather than internet explorer - if that helps.

Hit "enter" once you type the message to send it.

It's still wonky w/ Firefox. Comments disappear then reappear. Then you have phantom message counts and multiple photo albums deciding to disappear and reappear.....I could go on.

It was fine two weeks or so ago.

Nooo! It can't be that easy, can it? Thanks OC, I'll do that next time.

I can't even get FB to load right now. And it did this yesterday a couple times as well.

I'm using Firefox too.
