That is what you get for moving almost to Canada (not that Canada is not nice!!). But if it is in your forecast it will not be long before it's in mine!!

Not Chicago! Thank goodness!

Not because of you, Curlyarca. I just don't want snow anytime soon.

A friend of mine lives in Colorado and they've already had snow. I told her she lives in hell.

I'll take that snow! I don't like dreary either, but at least if you have snow while it's dreary, I like it. Here when it gets dreary, I complain that it should be snowing, at least! Just a couple of feet would be nice.

My son commented on the way to school that he loves this weather now! Cool and breezy, smells fresh. We won't be seeing any snow here, but it did rain early this morning.

Snow is something in the somewhat distant past for me. While I don't really enjoy the cold (okay, I hate it) we sure could use some moisture around here. In fact, I could be quite happy with a pretty, night time storm. You know, the kind that covers the ground with a white blanket, then the plows come down the street by 6am so that I don't have a problem driving. (The one thing I liked about snow was watching it fall quietly in the night.)

I hate snow, I hate cold, I hate short daylight hours, I hate dreary rainy days.
For 52 years I have lived where we have summer for about 13 days and sunshine about 42 days. If I could convince my boss to move, I'd be so out of here!
I will say that taking vit D really has improved my mood. I used to get severe depression this time of year, but I'm handling it alot better now.

We had our first day of not butt ass hot today (how you like that one? butt ass hot? I don't think I've said that since I was about nine) and it was awesome. I had my coffee outside and let S play with her sand and water table. YAY!

I'm going to up my vit D, thanks for the rec, ladies.

I do all sorts of things to combat depression, but SAD is a whole 'nother animal. For some reason I've been dreading winter this year, so maybe that'll help.

So, does this mean hell is freezing over?

I don't mind snow in January or February, but in September--no thanks.

Us, too. It was so nice to be on the playground at work and not feel like I was going to burst into flame at any moment.

No snow, just rain, is in the forecast! Those liars! LOL

OK, they got me. Very cold rain, & yes, snow higher up.
