does/ did anyone watch NCIS?! NCIS question?
Ok, i just recently got into this show. they give tons of reruns on USA so i think i've seen most shows! one thing i dont get is about Director Shepard's father. Is he alive!??!!!!?!!?! there's some hinting about him being alive, but i am not finding anything online!!!!!! i've done tons of searches and the info i get is that there are facts that tell us he's alive... but is he!?!! or is that part of the new season?
i'm going crazy!!! i need to know!!! is Jasper Shepard alive!?!!?!!!   :dontknow :

I have only watched a few eps and have no idea about shepard's dad, but I just wanted to mention that I have a fairly serious girl crush on Abbey...

hahhahaha. Abbey annoys me!!! she's toooo hyper!!!! i like her style and all, but when she starts talking, i just want her to get to the point... like Gibbs!!!!!! LOL. i think Ziva is too cool!!! she and Di'noso should have gotten it on!!!! not really sure if they did or didnt... i know there's that one episode where they need to pretend to be an assassin couple and they had some STEAMY scenes!!! Di'noso is pretty hot .
I still would love to know the deal with the father. why are they torturing me!??!! and the internet seems to be in on it cause i cant find an answer!!!!! maybe it is part of the new season... but there's a couple seasons in between the possibility of her father's existence (i think that was season 4) and then she died in season 5. not sure what episodes were in season 6, and the new season now (season 7), would be too late in the game to still drag this on!!!!
why can;t i find an answer!?

I haven't been watching it too long either but as far as i know I remember seeing an ep of NCIS not too long ago with Jethro's dad in it.. they went back to his old hometown (Pennsylvania I think) and his father was played by
damn can't think of it.. same guy who played the Father on "The Waltons"...
so unless they've killed him since then He's alive..

and for the record I love Abbey!! did you know that she went for her Masters in Criminal Science and would've ended up there if it wasn't for acting.

Gibbs is not the Director.
Her father was dead. They were doing all this weird stuff to make it seem like he wasn't and to lead the viewer down that path, but no. It was all stuff she was doing.

thanks gekko! but i still dont have closure!! so how did she find a glass and cigar with her fathers fresh prints? Abbey made it seem like they were fresh. and the dying man in the hospital that she went to see who was all like, 'your father was standing right there 2 weeks ago'. what's that about? was he in on this? how did they just dismiss the speculations? or is it somethign they just stopped building on?
ughh! im sorry for the Qs. i really feel like i have to know!! LOL. this is why i dont watch tv shows!!! i should just stick to movies!

There was no absolute closure. Sorry! They led viewers down the path that Jenny's Dad faked his suicide, but they never really pursued it. Then they killed off LeGrenouille (however you spell it) and then eventually Jenny and the storyline died. So we never do find out for sure, but there was something tying her and the Frenchmen to the clues - like he had the fingerprints put there or something, I can't remember what specifically.

it seems that the whole dead father thing was just a bad pointless story line that did died with the death of the Frog. i hate when shows do this!!!! thanks for your help Gekko. good to know i wasnt the only one who got no closure from this all!

At first I couldn't find Tony appealing due to his cockiness, but he's definitely grown on me. Kinda like McGee too.
Like all the women characters also. I think that's why the show has hooked me. Some story lines are better than others, but the characters are consistently enjoyable.
For the the longer term watchers, Kate or Zeva? I've heard other NCIS fans bash Kate, not sure why, I liked her a lot.

i got into NCIS a few months ago. i was flipping channels and couldnt find anything. so i guess i just left the channel on and it was OVER for me after that point!!! i catch ALL the reruns on USA!!! it's pretty much all i watch after work!! LOL.
but i think the crew is perfect!!! i love how all their characters interact. i also love how Ziva messes up American idioms. i think she's pretty awesome!!! i love how someone guessed she was Israeli bc of her accent! she clearly has a spanish accent!! LOL.
i like both Kate and Ziva. Kate was incredibly smart. Ziva is just so thorough! i like Tony's cockiness. it's fun. . and Ducky, and McGee... just a great crew!!!!
