Snowing

It's snowing here.

Does that mean it's nearly Christmas?

Are we talking a lot of snow or a few flakes? And what does that do to the dew point??!!

It has covered the flat surfaces of the neighbor's car. Dewpoint 25 and it better not be Christmas!!!

We've been having snow off an on since Wednesday. Just a few flakes, no accumulation. Except in the mountains and some higher elevations.

Whereabouts do you live? It's getting cold here but I can't imagine having snow yet.
Fat does not make you fat. It's actually pretty important.
It's more of a damp type of cold here but the sun is shining

I often think it would be lovely to live somewhere that gets lots of snow. But the practicalities - and what it would do to my hair.........

We're getting cold rain here, but I saw a car yesterday with a couple inches of snow on it -- must have come from the northwest corner of NJ, it's been snowing there.

Now, my sister in Montana told me they had two feet of snow last week. I would not be ready for that yet!
It's snowing/snowed here, too. Higher elevations got 5 inches yesterday into today. We have a dusting on our car and roof. It's too damn early for this. It's something like 20 degrees colder than average.
Under construction.
Northwestern PA here and we woke to a dusting of about an inch covering everything. Way way too early for this!!!!

Woke up to snow this morning too. Fortunately it just seemed to be blowing around and not accumulating. It was just yesterday that it hit me that summer is really over.
Location: Southern NH

If a news story breaks and no one on the Internet comments, did it really happen?
Although it is early, I envy those of you with snow. I miss it! But we never really got over a couple of feet in Germany, and about a foot in New Mexico. That's a nice amount of snow for me.

You ladies talk of the snow ruining your hair, that has never affected my hair. Unless I had to wear a hat.

Oh, and I'll trade you for this late heat wave. It was 80 yesterday.

And you know not much happened with my hair.. Once you get your routine down, - clear driveway, chain up the car(if needed) then you get ready for work. Its not really that bad on your hair, since you did the dirty work before you got ready for the day. And you up the moisture you use. Its dry compared to days its raining cause you think its humid but not really. That was new to me since being from Cali, snow was not a substance I had any experience with.

Snow is awsome from that childlike wonderment, but having to crawl under your car and put on snow chains since the city does not plow the streets - not fun.. But once you figure out how to get around not so bad.

Feb/march is the best time I hear to catch the white stuff.. Even if there isn't snow on the ground in vancouver - go up to Grouse or Whistler.. Grouse is closer to Vancouver smaller but its still beautiful and can easily be done in a day.
