Are you near Polson? My SIL and her kids live there. My MIL and her husband used to have house on Flathead Lake. They sold it to move to Las Vegas.

some guy from butte.
Nope, not scared for you -- jealous.

As a former Westerner, here's my advice for you:

The wolves and coyotes will not bother you. The coyotes will be happy to eat any dogs, cats, or other pets you have, so be warned. Wolves are actually pretty shy and will likely steer clear of your whole operation unless you have little livestock they might like.

The bears? Steer clear, don't leave food or birdseed etc. in your yard, on the porch. If you go out at night, turn on yard lights and make a LOT of noise before you go outside. Better yet, stay indoors! Don't fight them for the apples. If it's been a lean year for bears, I would also consider strong shutters for my windows and a sturdy door.

Don't visit the buffalo. They can stample you pretty good and will be more than eager to do so. You're probably in the most danger from them but at least they won't come up on your porch to see you.

We have bears (Black not Grizzly) and coyotes here. No Buffolo roaming though, and only sanctuary wolves.

If Montana is so great (and I think it is), why doesn't hardly anybody live there?
Alright Zmanzzz the jig us up. These aren't your real vacation photos. In fact this whole travel blog is FAKE! And you're not really a man! And you're not ASIAN!!

Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth. I sat at a table where were rich food and wine in abundance, and obsequious attendance, but sincerity and truth were not;
and I went away hungry from the inhospitable board.

I think he's just a show off. He's actually that cat in his avatar.

Think about it. He ate a bird for dinner, didn't he?
