You have probably heard about this in the press as it is on several times a day. (at least here)

It gives me shivers everytime I see it!!

What the he!! is this world coming to??

4 or 5 boys arrested one as young as 13!!
Oh my gosh!! It's absolutly heart breaking!

This is the first I have heard of it. It just makes me sick. You have to wonder what kind of parents these kids have. I have worked for the city schools for several years now (I'm 34..as of Tues.) and I have seen so many parents totally clueless about what their kids are in to, who their friends are, and so on. Many of the parents I meet are still worried about being 'cool' and 'hip'. The way they talk, dress, and act, it's no wonder the kids act the same. The kids, as well as their parents have no respect for authority, they're irresponsible, conceded, and downright rude! Many of these parents were teen parents, who either weren't old enough to make the right choices, or were forced to raise these kids alone. Regardless, we all have choices!

My parents weren't harsh disciplinarians, but my brother and I were taught to be respectful, confident, and always think of others. I have twin 11year old boys, and I know their friends, what they look at on the computer, what video games they play, TV shows, and if they don't seem appropriate in my mind...off they go!

It's truely disgusting!
Over a video game and a bike. They were friends? slep over one anothers houses etc.
One boy doused him in alcohol and lit him up with a liter while the others watched!!
Burned over 70% of his body.
It was in Deerfiled Bch a few miles from where I live.
They keep playing the 911 tapes it def the worst.

They set up an account for donations for his medical bills- going to donate don't know what else to do I feel so bad for the child and family.
I feel like I need to do something.

Can't believe it's not on the national news.
Seems the press likes stuff like this??

I agree, the local news sinks their teeth into stories like this. I watch the news about once a week, the rest of the week it seems to just play over and over. I wish I had the money to donate. Poor kid. I can only pray that he survives this horrible ordeal, unfortunately he will always bare the scars.

It was on the news here in Maine, and I almost threw up when I heard about it. I just don't, and never will, understand how people can do such heinous things.

I heard the 911 tape tonight - it was horrifying to say the least. Thank God he was near a swimming pool. I can't understand it - what is happening to people?? How can a human being do something like this to another?? It makes me want to cry - and it makes me afraid for our future!!

Adults are can be cruel but it seems children are even worse.
Like there are no consequences for their actions.

This poor boy will live the rest of his life in physical and mental agony!!
Of coarse if he makes it.

I hope all of those boys rot in jail until they die. I don't care if they are under 18 they are old enough to know what they did was wrong. Holy crap where in the hell did they even get this idea? I never had thoughts like that when I was a teen. Where the hell are the parents? (that was a rhetorical question)

This is so sick. I really can not understand why humans are so grossly voilent toward each other and other species. What is the point? It makes you wonder how society should punish these kids.
