I don't have a different scent for winter. I love VS's Heavenly any time of the year.

Yea, the Spammer is doing a good job at choosing the old threads.

I'm going to check out "The One." It sounds like what I like in a fragrance. thx, Fifi.

i sniffed about 8 new fragrances at Sephora last week - all of them were too floral for my liking.

i'll have to take a sniff of the D&G. on Monday night, my co-worker dragged me into Abercrombie Kids at the Eaton Centre and i fell in love with their Hadley scent. of course they don't have a store in this town...

Hope you (and Rou) like it!
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

This reminds me that I need more Mitsuoko vintage.

I rarely even wear perfume, but I want The One after reading that description! I'm hoping Ulta has it next time I go so I can give it a sniff.

I find if I'm not super careful to barely spritz on perfume it makes me sneeze all day. Hate that because I have two that I really like, but rarely ever wear.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
That description reads all loveliness, but, to me, it deciphers as a fruity floral, which isn't my taste for winter.

There's another version of The One called L'Eau The One and this is what Basenotes says about it:

anything with bergamot is my kind of scent!

I only wear Philosphy's Amazing Grace and Pure Grace. I wear them year round and choose which one I want based on my mood for the day.

For winter, I go for vanilla and amber scents.

^ All of those smell horrible on me. Picking out perfume can be a huge challenge.

Springy, I hope you find it and can test it. I adore it, and I do find it warm and wintery, on me. I also love that it is spicy yet light.

What I absolutely can not stand is a store that will not let you test perfume on your skin. Who is the jack hole that determined spraying on paper was better? Wth! You need to give a perfume 20 min to make sure it does not change on your skin.

When I do test, the best way, I make sure it is my last stop of the day. I need a shower, to calm the loudness, as soon as I get home.

I do envy those who smell good in a number of scents.
