Took a year and a half for our first (and currently, only). I was 36 when Zora was born (she's 7 months now), husband was 35. During all that time I was charting religiously and we ended up seeing a RE after 6 months with no results because of our ages. We ended up getting lucky and didn't have to have any assistance.

i was 27 when i got pregnant with our first. it took about 7 months. i think it took that long because i was at the tail end of finishing up school and had stress on me from that. plus, i was thinking too hard about becoming pregnant and was so disappointed each month that my period came on. stress can definitely play a role in conception.

with our second, i got pregnant on the first try. i was 31.
