Pasta spirals with tomato sauce abs cheddar cheese
Fat does not make you fat. It's actually pretty important.
Alright, I'm finally satisfying my stuffed shells craving. I'm having them tonight! Shells are stuffed (ricotta, mozzarella, spinach, and lemon zest), sauce is made (just tomatoes, garlic, and Aleppo):

I'm taking them to my brother's place, where all I'll have to do is sauce them and bake them.

We are going my BIL and SIL's house for dinner so all I know for sure is that we're having the corn on the cob that we're bringing...not sure what else they're BBQing.

Le sigh, yum!

Oh, I edited it and added that part in later. It's a very simple tomato sauce with garlic and chili flakes because a hit of spice in the sauce is great with cheesy pasta (heck, most pasta). I used the Aleppo because it's such a bright, sunny-tasting heat and it's also milder than typical chili flakes, which is important since my nephew will be eating (hey, might finally get him to have some spinach).
Having friends over tonight to celebrate a birthday. I'm making pasta with a smoked chicken-garlic-sundried tomato cream sauce. We'll have a green salad with hazelnuts and lemon-olive-oil dressing.

And a lemon sour cream cake for dessert!

You are beautiful!
Anyone tried "Frenchs onion chicken" recipe thats advertised on their commercials?
I made shells with a chicken tomato sauce last night.

I would call it spaghetti, but I know it wasn't.

Mix of 3s, thick, coarse, medium porosity

Current hair styling technique: rake with a scrunch at the end. (works with my coarse hair)

Minxy, did you have your raw tomato pasta?
I did. It wasn't as good as it was in my planning, but it was definitely good enough!

I also made carne con achiote that night! I was so happy to be able to eat regular food!

And now, even though I have the rubber bands still in for a little over a week more, I can eat anything I want. I'm thinking I'm finally able to eat my In n Out burger. (I think I can finally open wide enough to put a burger in)

I'd eat those shells, see Saria I'm not that picky

Tonight, who knows what I shall eat, I'm not in the mood for anything.
Turtles: omg please don't put that in your moo moo

Nej: too late... moo moo has been infiltrated.
Trader Joe's mini chicken tacos. Thank mercy for the demo's they do because I probably wouldn't have bought these and I feel like CRAP tonight so this was quick to heat in the oven. Sour cream and salsa on the side.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
It's the middle of the night and all I want are some fried chicken gizzards (with hearts and livers thrown in for good measure). Seriously, I'm about ready to walk down the street and break into the grocery store to get some.

Going to visit dad in the hospital & taking mom to Luby's...lol
Aww sorry your dad is in hospital. For some reason I thought it was your mom. I have a terrible memory. Or terrible reading skills.

Lovely fall day here so I made sauce and meatballs.
Went and picked apples and made a big pot of applesauce. Mmmm.

Going to a (family) party. There will be a taco trailer, and everyone is bringing appetizers and desserts. I'm bringing pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.
