What's for dinner?

Jeepy, I just don't care for tartar sauce, either. I'd sooner do something like an herby creme fraiche or yogurt sauce for salmon patties. Or perhaps an aioli or gribiche, which is similar to tartar sauce, but different enough in flavor to appeal to me.
I'm taking the meat and potatoes from a chicken stew to make a quick soup with veggies. It's so cold and rainy, that all I want is soup all day

Tonight is chicken and rice soup and maybe a grilled cheese. I wish it would stay cooled off because I'm lovin' me some soup!

Thanks for the recipes spring! I prefer red salmon in my patties (yes I'm a salmon patty snob. hahaha) and being a low carber means I can't put bread IN patties and then put them ON a bun! But it sounds fab.

Gribiche is a lot of things. Sometimes it's like mayo and in turn tartar sauce, other times it's like a salsa verde (the Italian kind, not the Mexican kind) or chimichurri, with chopped eggs, capers, parsley, cornichons, acid, and olive oil.

Orangette: Something called sauce gribiche

Preserved lemon aioli would be great with salmon patties (I have preserved lemons still hanging out in my fridge).
Tonight's dinner is cucumber and tomato salad sprinkled with feta cheese with roasted turkey breast.

Monday was turkey burgers.
Tuesday was chick chez/spinach.
Wed I'm off.
Thurs is tilapia or pork chops.
Friday is what I don't have on Thurs.

Turkey and vegetable chili with a little bit of Greek yogurt, plenty of sriracha, and cilantro.

Going to this bar tonite for a big chicken salad. Some people are grossed out by all the stuffed animals but I think it's interesting to hear the stories from the owner/hunter. Safari Bar

I made crockpot pumpkin chili and I can't wait to eat it tomorrow. Unfortunately I'm working until well after 8 tonight.

Szechwan shrimp and cabbage stew. Just a made up recipe that I think sounds fancier if I call it Szechwan. : ) It was pretty yummy tho.
