A huge steak (actually a roast that I cook as a steak) cooked Pittsburgh rare. That's all. Junk a big hunk of meat.

Chicken pot pie with buttermilk drop biscuits for the topping instead of a crust.

Chicken breasts with a mushroom sauce made from scratch over wild rice. It was my first attempt and it was delish!

I had some beef stew meat with herbs in the slow cooker all day, made some gravy and had it over rice with roasted broccoli and cornbread.

I just did pork chops, broccoli, and oven fries for dinner.

But...for lunch at work today we had an annual Soups and Stews. 10 or so people brought their crockpots with their soups and others brought bread and desserts. We all brought muffin tins and had a little of everything. It was heaven! Everything was so delicious!

I made spicy beans with brown rice. It's my quick cook go-to meal.

Today is butternut squash and spinach pasta, topped with a crumbled blue cheese.

There's a big crockpot of old-fashioned Portagee bean soup simmering away!

I forgot to get a fresh loaf of french bread to go with it...must run to the corner market.

Corn dog bread. A warm and satisying very late supper. (It's just a package of corn bread mix with a bit of brown sugar and chopped hot dogs added and baked in a loaf pan. I also add chopped jalapenos)
