Jeep, I showed a recipe like that to a friend of mine except it was done in a muffin tin and her kids had a freakin' fit over those things.

Thank MERCY for leftovers because I am exhausted after working on the house all day in prep for guests arriving tomorrow, we had chicken pot pie.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

The recipe I saw was also made in a muffin tin. That's how lazy I am - it's easier to dump it all in a loaf pan instead of spooning it into a muffin tin. That would just be too exhausting. : )

Thumbs up

A turkey burger left over from earlier in the week, since all 6 boxes of pizza were eaten from the partay....heck hubby didn't even eat, I don't think!
Kinda like what happened when we had our wedding reception

Tonite is supposed to be my fave food courtesy of my oldest nephew wanting to go there to celebrate his bday and my dad, as well, since now he can eat it and is a late bday dinner

I've been cooking for two days and when our guests offered to make dinner I practically tackled them while screaming YES!!!! We're having grilled burgers and salad. Amen.

Leftover Chinese from last night. I've been sick the last 2 days and there's no way I'm cooking.

Red Lobster with my guy and 2 of his kids. We had the best waiter (he told the 12 year old son that he would bring him a scotch on the rocks. and after our 4th basket of biscuits he said he was searching my purse before we could leave.). Had a great time and good food.

I took advantage of the fresh white asparagus at Costco.
Steamed those with homemade hollandaise (I cheated by using a blender).
Whipped potatoes with fresh parsley.
Bavarian style veal bratwurst.
Grainy mustard.

A big scramble made with shredded potatoes, chopped bacon, eggs, and cheese. Fruit as a side.

1st night since Thursday we aren't eating leftover thanksgiving or pizza (from my sons bday party Saturday, I way overbought the pizza!) Tomorrow is my son's 5th bday and he wants to go to a pizza place, aaaah! I will be getting a salad even though it is dang good brick oven pizza.

Spaghetti with cheddar & roasted garlic bread.

It's probably the best sauce I've ever made and a shame I'll never be able to recreate it because it was a combo of stuff from the freezer and the last of my fresh tomatoes.

Salmon in brown butter
Saffron pilaf
Lentils
Grainy mustard butter

A moderately edible but quite ugly pear gallete. I must have some sort of toxic affair with baking. It doest love me but I continue to try.

My poor family. At least everything else was fantastic.

my new housemate cooked for me today. i had dumplings stuffed with schrimp and pork sandwiched between two pieces of deepfried batter thingy. when dipped in spicy fishsauce its delicious and bowel inducing. she then introduced me to artichoke tea. im not a tea drinker but this was really good. she brought it back from Dalat my wife's hometown.

Past-itsio (apparently it's foul language so I had to stick a hyphen in), salad and garlic toast.
