Breaded steak and breaded zucchini. I'm on a crunchy coating binge lately.

Not sure, but I think kettle corn will be heavily featured in tonight's evening meal.

tuna casserole and steamed or sauteed cabbage.

i know they don't go together, but we haven't had a vegetable in a couple of nights (one of those weeks) and i need to use this head of cabbage before it starts to wilt.

then...

salmon in a middle eastern marinade with couscous, string beans and choy sum.

The mangoes were from a friend's farm and were amaaaaaaaaaaaaazing!

Spaghetti and meatballs
Salad
Garlic toast

I halved the recipe and only used ground beef because it's what I had on hand, but they were good. I've always just made a meat sauce, but never meatballs, so DH was so excited. What I love is that he HATES with a fiery passion parmesan, pecorino romano, etc, but I used it anyway and he's eating it up. Success!

^I really don't understand this aged cheese hate. Pecorino and Parmesan don't taste anything alike, so how can one hate both when one otherwise likes cheese?

I guess it's just such a strong taste and what he calls a stinky cheese, none of which I've ever seen him like. He likes sharp yellow cheddar, goat cheese, Camembert, Gouda, but if it has a strong odor fughetaboutit.

I can still recall and laugh at the face he made when he ate some feta thinking it was something else.

I guess it's like some people like cilantro and others hate it, different taste buds.

Parmesan is hardly stinky, though. Tell him he makes no sense.

Planned on eating baked fish tonight but ended up at the Italian Civic Club eating hot wings and about 18 pounds of celery and carrots with homemade blue cheese dressing. Mmmmm.

Well, duh.

That is a regular occurrence for the last 19 years and I'm almost used to it.

I love cheese. Even sharp cheeses although I can only eat some of them in small amounts.

I can gorge myself on goat cheese and Gouda though.

My 7 year old loves feta and she'll eat parmesan right off the block

We're going to my boyfriend's cousin's house for a belated birthday celebration: pizza, grinders and cake. God, help me.
