I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

I was experimenting with homemade grain free cereal/meusli/granola so that's what I ate for supper. I had some cold, I had somel hot, and I had some right off the cookie sheet. My cereal craving is abated. And the cereal is so so good.

DH is addicted to Bob's Red Mill muesli and at a little over $4 a bag I really need to try and replicate it at home.
I think I'll be having granola and yogurt for breakfast in the AM.

Have a beef roast in the crock pot with lots of garlic, carrots, turnips, a bit of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Can't wait to get home.

Baked orecchiette and cheese with broccoli and ham topped with panko.
It was a little bowl of comfort.

Chicken rice soup from the stock I made the other day. I wish I had some crusty bread. I am too lazy to go out for any.

I made a roast chicken stuffed with lemon and onions, a rice/orzo pilaf with peas, and roasted cubed butternut squash tossed with walnuts and craisins.

Are there leftovers? If so, I'll be right over. If not, then you have plenty of time to cook this meal again before I get there. lol

Stuffed pepper soup and it was so, so good. Had some garlic bread on the side.
I skipped the marjoram and used thyme, oregano and bay leaf, used 8oz tomato sauce, 2C bell peppers and some celery.

Jeep, last time I made tuna noodle casserole I used a small can of salmon too (I didn't have enough tuna) and it was really, really good. Just thought I'd suggest it.
