Sisters Sunday Dinner at my house tonite. I made chicken and biscuits (rotisserie chicken in gravy over biscuits). One sister brought a huge musk melon, the other made pumpkin mousse.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

Either leftover scallops if there are any left - with brussels sprouts and asparagus, OR lavash pizza, Thai peanut chicken style.

My second mom is cooking (yay for family visiting!) and she's making chicken cordon bleu, loaded crispy smashed potatoes, smoked gruyere gourges and steamed broccoli.

Chicken pot pie with drop biscuit top crust, not a pie crust
Steamed broccoli tossed in browned butter
My second mom loves chicken pot pie and she really, really enjoyed this. My dad told me ahead of time he's not crazy about CPP, but he'd eat it anyway. Apparently he loved it too because he said I needed to give his wife the recipe. Score! My dad is super picky.

Went dandelion picking today with my dad. First time of the season. So supper will be dandelion salad, and greens and beans. Breakfast will be dandelion scrambled eggs. I really love dandelions. : )

The kids were easy
Leftover roasted chicken and noodles with tomato sauce.
Hubby will be a challenge. I have frozen scallops (which we had a couple days ago) and frozen mackerel. Everything else may take too long to defrost. No clue when he's coming home from a meeting.
I'm at a loss.
nevermind. I figured it out.
Pan fried mackerel
tomato based curry sauce
white rice
cucumber ratia
fresh limes

Homemade oat crackers (I love making crackers of all types, yes I do) with Brillat Savarin and Mt. Tam. Hardly a balanced dinner, but oh so good.
