I'm finally able to do the single girl dinner and....I have no idea what the heck to make myself.
I think I'm having purple hull peas, steamed broccoli, and cornbread. I might get all rebellious and make cheese sauce for the broccoli.

Chicken salad. With sliced strawberries as a side dish.
I made the chicken salad from the leftovers of the whole roaster chicken I cooked yesterday in my crockpot. OMFG, that was so good...I will never roast another chicken in the oven.

Woo-hoo! Glad you liked it. I always stir in some Dijon mustard toward the end and really like that. It's also good with a splash of hot sauce.

Funny you said that about the hot sauce. Mr B-wavy usually adds hot sauce to every. dang. thing., but he didn't add it to this soup. That's a HUGE compliment!

Mr. Spring adds Frank's Chili n Lime to every. dang. thing. and I feel the same way when he doesn't use it. Like I just totally scored with making something he doesn't feel the need to drown in order to eat.

Grilled Italian sausage with sauteed peppers and onions, provolone, and spaghetti sauce on rolls. The peppers and onions were so tasty.
