My appreciative Nepalese co-worker has invited me over for dinner 3 times. I like it. Its not what I expected. It has more in common with Indian food than Chinese cuisine

Yep, a lot of restaurants in Jackson Heights serve Indian and Nepalese/Tibetan. So, have you gotten any momos on any of those days?

I'm on a diet.  Whatever I have for dinner tonight will be low fat, low cal, and low carb.

I think tonight will be parmesan/pesto/pine nut crusted chicken. Roasted mixed veggies. If the humidity drops a bit I might make meringues for dessert. (all low carb, pretty low fat and low cal)

I made salad with mixed greens, spinach, strawberries, avocado, onion, grilled chicken, and gorgonzola crumbles. It was tasty! The only problem is, I have a feeling we will be hungry in an hour.

I cooked a beef roast late last night and made a sandwich with it, on some super fresh wheat (bakery) bread, today. It was rather delicious. I snacked on raw crispy veggies as a side.

A wild turkey my boyfriend shot this morning. Haven't had one in years so I'm very excited to cook it. They are so much more delicious than a commercial bird.
Stuffing (inside the bird, none of this in-a-casserole-dish shenanigans. haha.), fried potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn bread. Carb city, here we come!
