Leesburg as in Florida?

My mom lives in Eustis. I know the area well.

Nope. Virginia. I didn't know there was one in FL too.

We had pizza. We were too busy getting ready for my daughter's birthday party tomorrow to cook.

We eat at Faang often. Great food! I hope you try it out soon and report back.

Cereal. Blah. I've had it twice today and I am starving. I've decided I would have rather eaten chicken or pork (chicken and pork?), black eyed peas, greens and corn bread. Apparently I'm craving New Years in June, or good food in general.

^ Gee thanks Spring Now I want taco's. A skinny girl beverage commercial just came on and I screamed, skinny cow!!! I can now add dream clusters to my list.

I've got to get off this app and go make a snack before I wilt.

Sisters Sunday Dinner is at my house tonight so I'm making mushroom soup, artichokes, corn bread with jalapeno pepper jelly, and chocolate covered cherries (how easy is this for dessert - dip fresh cherries in melted dark chocolate, put on plate, done).

Tonight is our first home cooked meal in our new apt...

Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and I have a bottle of piemonte doc moscato (some sparkling white wine). I have no idea if it'll go well together but we are celebrating!

saria, please see my post about pie crust in another thread.

For about 3.4 seconds I thought about trying a clafoutis again, but I don't know. I saw the recipe on SE the other day and it's floating around in my head. Mr. Spring and I are trying to watch what we eat a little and I thought something in a ramekin so I can make two would be nice, maybe a crumble.

Somebody needs to make potato salad.

With dill. I'm obsessed with dill.

I'd just make a cherry compote then and proceed to eat on everything. Crepes, blintzes, sweet cheese souffles, on top of ice cream or sorbet, etc. (you can throw some crumble topping and bake for a crumble as well).

I did a nice dill-flecked potato salad for staff the other day. Homemade mayo and a good dose of grainy mustard.

We will be having the leftover burgers, hot dogs, chips, baked beans, deviled eggs, fries, and birthday cake from my daughter's party yesterday.

Pan seared scallops with brown butter/shallot sauce (? - is it a sauce when it's just butter??).

Depends on whether you're emulsifying that brown butter or not. If not, it's just brown butter, if yes, then it's sauce.
