Biscuits, I wish! There was a pretty good corn muffin involved though.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

Steak on the grill, red potatoes with rosemary (done on the grill too) and a salad. Strawberry shortcake.

Grilling some hot dogs (Applegate Farms dogs rock) and I've got potato salad in the making and probably baked beans. Think I screwed up my tater sallied and added too much dressing! I'm going to add more eggs to try and even things out.

Honeydew melon for dessert!

Rosemary chicken, again. I love it. Sauteed pineapple. Romaine sauteed with garlic and hot pepper flakes. For dessert - chocolate. I found these packages of chocolate discs at Big Lots and they are yummy. 62% cacao dark chocolate sprinkled with sea salt. Mmmm.

I love TJ's orange chicken.

No honeydew melon for dessert since my neighbor brought over rice pudding for us. YAY!! So glad I invited her to have dinner with us. I totally got the better end of the bargain.

Errr....

Homemade burrito bowls. I was super excited because I bought a rice cooker tonight. Sadly, it burnt my rice.

Shrimp, pasta, and kale and garlic scape pesto tonight. Gotta find more ways to use all the kale in my CSA! We have done kale and spring onion frittata (yum) and green smoothies with kale (too chunky, ew). Any good kale recipes? We get swiss chard on Friday, need to learn to cook greens!

We got tart cherries last week and I made cobbler. Hmmm, what should I make with next week's cherries?

I'm not a huge kale fan. I like kale chips and that's about it. As for other greens - chard, romaine, dandelions, escarole, etc, I like them sauteed in a little olive oil with chopped garlic, hot pepper flakes, salt, pepper. And I love greens n beans - sautee as above, then add some chicken or veggie stock and any kind of beans. Mmmm.

Made a big pot of chili last night so I'm looking forward to chili salad for supper tonight.
