What's for dinner?

Like Tree705Likes

brined bone-in pork chops slathered in spicy mustard and coated with Italian breadcrumbs roasting in oven right now, sauted spinach with green peppers and maybe corn, yeast rolls (store-bought) and a nice Italian wine.

Hubby has a boys' night out so we're having dinner as a family early, before that

After he leaves, my son and I will pig out on homemade guacamole and chips and homemade blue cheese/cream cheese spread on crackers that he and I made this morning.

I have felt "blah" all day, so I cook and eat and ah, better!

Bacon cheese burger and fries.

Worn out iPhone. Need I say more?
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

Tonight we had grilled pork tenderloin and grilled fresh pineapple along with roasted veggies (asparagus, bok choy and green onions) and a fresh corn & black bean salsa. Yummers. Oh, and pseudo key lime pie for dessert.
I'm moving in with B-wavy.

We had leftover bourbon chicken over rice with corn on the cob.

Tomorrow night we're making cedar planked salmon on the grill for the first time. My insane FIL spent WAY too much money overnighting this salmon to us. A friend of his that lives in Alaska caught it and shipped it to him. Well traveled salmon.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
Our first wedding anniversary is Monday so we're having a weekend-full of celebrating. We ate here tonight: Poggio Italian Restaurant - Sausalito Restaurants, CA 94965 It was delicious. The highlight was definitely the panna cotta dessert with strawberries..yum!

Seriously...a year already!!?!! Time is flying, my word. Seems like just yesterday I was conversing with you about moving here and you were in the end stages of planning the wedding! Time needs to slow down a wee bit.

Happy anniversary!!

Local corn (steamed), tomatoes and cukes (sliced). And peach cobbler for dessert.

Tonight we're having salsa verde sour cream chicken enchiladas, Spanish rice, and sliced avocado.

Went to Butcher Shop and had the charcuterie board, seared fig salad with prosciutto and chèvre, andouille sausage with tomato jam aioli, braised greens, and cannellini purée, and strawberries and cream for dessert.
Ugh, I miss charcuterie plates at work. They provide constant snacking sources. This was a good one: sopressata, mortadella, pork rillette, pâté de campagne, pâté de foie gras, and coppa with pickled onions, grainy mustard, and cornichons. That plus the bread with honey and salted butter were more than enough to make me very happy. Love me a good charcuterie board!

Also, south end is more to my liking than north end and reminds me of NYC a little more.
I think I'm going to look for a place in Cambridge because all the awesome restaurants are there (and bakeries), or Brookline for similar reasons, but if I can find a place in south end that I can afford I'd be pretty happy with that since it's closer.

Taco salad with last night's leftover taco fixings.

I'm trying to resist having leftover wedding cake for a third night in a row...

jaynee, feel free to drop it off over here if you're having doubts.

Seriously, it's your wedding topper!! Eat up, for heavens sake!
