What's for dinner?

I had oxtails, with steamed cabbage, and black eye peas and rice mixed. I made myself stop eating.

Went to TGIF with the ex Mr Harley. He wants to go to some of his favorite places and have some fun before he goes in for heart surgery in a couple weeks. We shared meals as always - dragonfire chicken, rice, broccoli for me; steak, garlic mashed potatoes, mixed squash for him. And a few very good screwdrivers.

Was supposed to go for Italian today with my sister but she had to cancel, but I have the craving now so I'll have to thaw some sauce and meatballs when I get home tonight.

I'm making rice with garlic shrimp in coconut milk, tomatoes, and cilantro. I may make some roasted broccoli too.

Tonight we had grilled pork tenderloin and grilled fresh pineapple along with roasted veggies (asparagus, bok choy and green onions) and a fresh corn & black bean salsa. Yummers. Oh, and pseudo key lime pie for dessert.

Worn out iPhone. Need I say more?
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??

i wanted to have chicken souvlaki tonight and put them in the fridge to thaw. but it's so humid, i can't even be bothered to fire up my little charcoal grill. i will have to eat it tomorrow because i'm on the early train to Toronto on Saturday morning.

so i bought a chicken alfredo with linguine dinner at the gourmet place at the market and some divinely decadent chocolate cup filled with mousse and fresh berries at the bakery and got some blackberries at the fruit stand and a LOT of booze to wash it all down!

Mr. Spring requested a tuna sandwich and I'm thinking I'll add crumbled bacon and some other stuffs to it. And big surprise, tater tots. I'm going to tell him they've stopped making them.

I'd like to have one of those mousse cup thingies, rou! I'd also like to bring birthday cake to you so we can celebrate!

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
It's early but I had curry shrimp and rice and some roasted red potatoes with garlic butter sauce and a bottle of water.

I don't know what we're having.....I'm just hoping I won't be the one cooking whatever it ends up being.

Needed to grab something super quick because I was on my way to a biker event and knew if I didn't eat before I started drinking it would be a bad thing. : )
So I had celery with peanut butter, string cheese, a piece of cold chicken, and some pumpkin custard. Weird but good.

Currently I don't really feel like anything, so I'm leaning toward getting some cheeses at the nearby cheese shop and charcuterie along with some good crusty bread. I figured being in the north end, typing salumeria into the maps app would do, and indeed there is one nearby! Hopefully their selection is good!
Looks like we had popcorn.

I keep forgetting not to eat til you're full here. People save a little space for fruit after every meal. I usually feel bad when I consistently have to turn down fruit deserts. I get the feeling that I'm rejecting their generosity.
