Went to Johnny Garlic's for Mr. Spring's birthday. He got a burger he exclaimed "Holy $h!t this is the best burger ever!" and it really was pretty kick ass good. I had wild mushroom chicken, mashed potatoes, and veggies and I also had a bite of a really good ribeye and some bison and Italian sausage meatloaf that was tasty.
We got free dessert that was some sort of mint ice cream cake with Oreo type crust that was really good as well.
Stuffed. My word.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

A variation on arroz con pollo. It is not authentic by an means but chicken and rice seems to taste good to no matter what.

The rice was sticky but not underdone like I thought it would be. Not bad though! My kids loved it!

Blackened red snapper sandwich and fries.
Family shared a little bite of theirs with me and I sampled fried cod, fried prawn, fried scallop, and some coleslaw.

^ I want to go on a fried fish frenzy!
I made stuffed banana peppers (they were hot!), roasted sweet potatoes and brussels sprouts. Sliced bananas in milk topped with chopped walnuts for dessert.

I have eaten so horribly the last few days I just want to swim around in a salad for a week. Ugh. How come company always wants to go to the worst places?? And my father-in-law won't let me cook! He insists on taking us out out to eat, but tomorrow he's got another thing coming because I'm cooking. I can't do this all week, I don't have the willpower.
And tonight my neighbor brought us over a sweet potato pie. Guess what we're having for breakfast? I'm going to be 800 lbs when all is done.

Pasta. Which I really did not want. But it was 5 o'clock, I was feeding the kids, and I hadn't eaten myself yet today. I figured it was now or never.
