Marinated some salmon in spicy mustard, maple syrup, and soy sauce and grilled it on a cedar plank and had steamed broccoli, sticky rice, and bread.

The amount of time from slipping on the peel and landing on the pavement is exactly one bananosecond.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
Dinner at friend Kaye's (old lady I help out). Everything is homemade and delish and never good for my diet but I keep the portions small. Chicken pounded out and rolled up with apples and brie, then a crunchy coating. Maple syrup gravy. Pasta alfredo with peas. Blueberry pie. Mmmm.

My baby is making me cuban black beans, rice and chicken I think. He's so nervous I won't like it but I know I'll like it. He cooks better than me and I can usually eat what I make lol. I think I'll bring wine and we're watching the debate.

Any wine suggestions?

We had Chinese from our favorite restaurant tonight. I have been craving their dumplings for several days, so we had to go.

Dinner was a banana, sweet potato, string cheese and a jello cup. Yum Yum
Roast beef sandwich with horsey sauce, roasted carrots and sweet potatoes, fried apples (not really fried, just sauteed with lemon juice, cinnamon, vanilla syrup, walnuts).

Phew! I'm glad someone does aside from my family! It seems like everyone I know hates it. I found a great recipe and my family looks forward to it whenever I make it.

I have got to find a good meatloaf recipe. I really love it, but Mr. Spring isn't fond so I've gotta find something to hook him with. I came across one for a balsamic glazed meatloaf that I'm going to try, this cold weather just screams for it! Meatloaf and mashed taters, dammit!

Yet again I'm going to everyone's house for dinner.

I'll take anything with salted caramel frosting! That sounds yum.

I got my meatloaf recipe from the PBS show Cooks Country Kitchen. You cook it on a baking sheet and not a loaf pan, broil the top to make a yummy crust on it and the sauce on top is vinegar-y glaze goes well with the meat.

I had breakfast for dinner. Scrambled eggs, biscuits, bacon and gravy. It was scrumptious.
