I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

Last night we had tacos and refried beans. I used ground beef and ground turkey, onions, garlic, gypsy peppers and green chiles with lime and cilantro for the filling.

I want cookies for dinner. If Mr. Spring was out of town I'd be having cookies for dinner.

Beef stew that has been in the crock pot all day - beef, cauliflower, butternut squash, brussels sprouts, green beans, onions, broccoli, radishes, carrots. Mmmm.

I love beef stew!
I'm hoping the man doesn't have to work tonight and takes me out for sushi!
(Fingers crossed)

I think we're going to have meatloaf, roasted potatoes and either broccoli or green beans. It sounds rather beaver cleaver-y, but it will be delicious.

I made mini corn dog muffins with mac and cheese. It was a big hit with my kids.

I almost made beef stew but decided to make red beans and rice with sausage instead because I had a taste for it. Had it with some leftover cornbread that I made for a potluck.

Fried chicken (using gluten free flour), sautéed apples with pecans and cinnamon, and little yellow and red potatoes with garlic and Italian seasonings.

This is like a perfect meal for me (when I'm treating myself to a carby meal). Mmmm.
Mojodojo and I had a mind-meld today - I made sauteed pears with sugar free pancake syrup and walnuts.

I bit of an experiment. Haddock cooked in tomato and basil sauce with rice. Followed by cornbread.
I'm trying to use up a load of stuff before I buy more
