Went for Chinese last night with Chon and sons. Tonite it was homemade sauce and pasta. Dessert was dark chocolate with sea salt. Having a hard time not eating the whole bar.

We had another late lunch so the snackies I ate tonight are too embarrassing to even type it's so bad. Instead I'll share what I had for lunch!

I had a pastrami reuben on rye with sauerkraut, Swiss, and sweet hot mustard and Mr. S had a pulled pork sandwich with buttermilk slaw, spicy bread and butter pickles, and chipotle mayo. We also split a cup of chili with housemade tortilla chips that were ass kicking good.

I made this The Enchanted Cook: Parmesan Crusted Chicken {Hellmann's Mayo Recipe} (with half nonfat sour cream/half mayo) tonight with salad and steamed broccoli. The chicken was pretty darn tasty for something that originally looked and sounded awful.

Toasted cheese sandwich - hot pepper cheese and velveeta on a 7 grain pita. And a perfect avocado.
And most of a box of Valentine's candy. That I bought for the boyfriend. But I opened it. And ate it myself.

A perfect avocado?! Where did you find one this time of year?? I try to get one every week at the various grocery stores and fruit stands, but they're all hollow and mushy or hard as rocks and bright green. I'm just jealous....we go through a couple a week when they're good.

Jaynee, I got great avocados at Raley's (in RP) yesterday, 99 cents each when you buy three and they had a freaking ton of them so you'd have plenty to pick from to find a few good ones.

I could avocado every freakin' day, such loveliness.

Did y'all know there is a Bacon avocado? It's named after someone with the last name Bacon, but I still think that's awesome. I got some in my veggie delivery box today so it will be interesting to see if the consistency varies from the type I get at the grocery.

murrr, you can google to see if there is anything in your area! The service I use is really flexible in that I can pick different sizes and mixes (just fruit, just veggie, or a mix), have an exclusions list so we don't get things I know we don't like and I can set it up for the frequency I like or cancel a delivery if I need to.

Today I got avocado, carrots, kale, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, apples, and leeks.

The one I use is Farm Fresh To You and if anyone here lives in their delivery area let me know and I'll send you a code for $10 off your first delivery.
