What's for dinner?

You usually want at least an hour to let it cool, usually for a boule it takes two hours to cool, and often it's still not there. Other shapes cool faster unless the bread is a dense one (like a black bread). So unless you went home right away, it will be cool.
One word: Yum.

We had gnocchi, sausage and spinach soup with french bread. I used Trader Joe's chicken breakfast sausage in it, love that stuff.

With the leftovers this weekend I'm going to stir in some kale, nom nom!!

I do have a secret yen for pink in unexpected places. ~ninja dog
I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
Don't judge me......I may even have 2!

You're just supposed to eat less gnocchi precisely because it's so filling. And how is a soup with sausage and cream any lighter than gnocchi tossed with a few other ingredients or a sauce (who smothers gnocchi in sauce, by the way?). It's just such an odd entry to me.
I'd cut the cream out of that myself though. It seems like a lot and unnecessary for that kind of soup.
Tonight was low carb linquini with homemade pesto, shrimp, and loads of veggies. and a Pop Tart for dessert.

I used half and half and liked it, kind of silky. Although it would still be good even without.

I really enjoyed it. Her blog, she can write whatever.

Last night, pork curry with hand-breaded pork cutlet. Tonight, hmmmmm, still thinking about that. Maybe something like beef broccoli stir fry or steak with mushrooms.
Cubed chicken and red potatoes sauteed in olive oil with fresh herbs and onions. Chives and goat cheese mixed w/ the oil and spread over the top, a fig balsamic drizzle over that and refrigerated. It was good!
