I don't know...I'm having a hard time getting back into cooking mode after being on vacation. I have some ground beef, but I may save that for tacos...we may have spaghetti with squash from our garden and Trader Joe's turkey meatballs.

A combination of chorizo and Italian breakfast sausage from a local butcher in homemade tomato sauce with bell peppers and spaghetti. I don't think I'll have time to make the pasta from scratch, unfortunately.

Sent from my "smart"phone. Please excuse typos!

Kitteh in a pot, so cute!!

Grilling a ribeye with roasted potatoes and salad on the side.

Jaynee, I don't know if you'd like it, but the taco rice I made the other night was pretty good.

I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.

I actually was looking at that recipe earlier...I may try that over the weekend or next week!

It's one of those easy-don't-have-to-think-about-it meals. I used low sodium soy sauce and didn't add salt and it was fine and next time I'm doubling the cumin because I'm a cumin freak.

Scrap that whole steak idea... I just took it out of the freezer yesterday, but it smelled funny and I take no chances. Painful to throw that out.

Pizza instead.

Last night: 3 Weetabix with milk. I'm feeling a bit stressed at the moment and that equals no appetite for me. One one hand it's good because I'm working on loosing 20 pounds and I'm not snacking as much as I did throughout the day, on the other I need to eat but I just can't. I've had to resort to buying Slimfast to get some calories in me in the morning because I cannot face eating at that time.

My chef friend taught me a fun way to spice up corn on the cob. Smother it in italian dressing and grated parmesan cheese. I cannot believe how amazing it was. I had that and a cornish hen for dinner. Num nums.

Last night I had Korean bbq for dinner. My previously favorite Japanese restaurant was closed for a year after a massive fire and just reopened. The greatly increased their Korean food, but I'm unlikely to go back for Japanese, sadly.

Tonight was my birthday-ish dinner w/ friends (tomorrow's actual bday) and we had Ethiopian food again. I love that place - we just told the waitress to pick samplers for us with a significant amount of vegeterian. Worked out well!

Spring - I loooove tuna sandwiches with pickles. If mayo wasn't so mean to my waistline, I could eat them every day.

Tonight, we will probably have pasta prima verra with grilled veggies if the hubs decides to fire up the grill. If not, I'll do it inside with sauteed veggies intead.

I'm going to make Chickpea curry and have it with rice. I've not made it before. I'm concerned about the possible side effects.

LA, I use a tiny bit of low fat mayo and either low fat Greek yogurt or light sour cream for the rest...it doesn't take much. You should indulge every once in a while!

I think were on the same wavelength, I walked over to my mother in laws house yesterday and stole her green tomatoes (she looked at me like I was nuts!)
