Minxy, why are you on a liquid diet?

I've never had a Pop Tart. I might try one.

I'm having birthday dinner out tonight at a Chinese restaurant with mum, dad and grandad.

hahaha!

Tonite's supper was odd at best. I was in a grazing mood so I just made a big plate of whatever struck my fancy. toasted cheese sandwich, raw carrots, sunflower seeds, fresh toasted coconut, pop tart.

I've had nothing but crap to eat so far this weekend and I have no idea how I could possibly be hungry, but I want a hamburger and fries.

What will we have? Probably just snack type stuff because we ate a late brunch and then some midday cold pizza.

I'm on a liquid diet because of jaw surgery almost two weeks ago. Four weeks to go.

I tried to have a cheese burger, lettuce, and tomato. Not so good. Then I had creamed spinach and cauliflower. I'm planning on blending some cake and milk for a before bed snack.

Aww, Minxy that sucks. I hope you feel better soon.

I'm having this tonight, although I modified it a bit because I don't have anything in

We didn't have any of this stuff, but in the last 2 days at the county fair my sisters and I have shared - shrimp fried rice, corn dogs, cotton candy, chicken and biscuits, candy apples, taffy, hot sausage sandwiches. And of course Diet Coke. : )

Going to my favorite wine bar tonight with one of my closest friends. It's a splurge, but I can't wait for some girl talk over wine and cheese...yummy!

No idea.

If DH actually gets out of work some time tonight (please insert annoyed sarcasm at his boss here) we've got somewhere to go and depending on what time we get back as to whether we get takeout or I can pull something outta my....pantry...for dinner.

Jaynee, I hope you have a fabulous time!

Spice rubbed salmon, steamed broccoli, and honey butter carrots. The fish-despising kids ate fusilli pasta with their veggies.

Salmon patties and white macaroni (olive oil, hot pepper seeds, browned garlic, salt, pasta), and some perfect peaches for dessert.

I had grilled teriyaki salmon in a wrap with some sriracha, sesame seeds, a teeny bit of mayo, spinach, romaine, and cilantro and some roasted broccoli on the side.

Tonight is a quesadilla with leftover turkey taco meat.

I'm officially going to start visiting y'all for dinner....one at a time.

Now I want salmon!

I think tonight we're having BLAT's (bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato) with the first tomato from our yard! Wish that avocado was from my yard too, I'd love to have a tree out there.

We have amazing tomatoes right now at the local farmer's markets.

I just planned the same meal for Friday's dinner!

Going up to Erie tonite so we might get supper at Whole Foods or a gastropub I like.
But this was lunch - and yes, the tomatoes and sweet corn are super this year.

I'm so jealous of everyone with tomatoes! Ours are looking awful this year, we have some green ones that I'm hoping will turn, but the plants themselves are looking pretty pathetic. I am going to hit up the farmers market tonight and see what I can score...I need some summer tomatoes!!

Jeep, is that a yellow watermelon or what? Funky!

I don't know how our tomato bush is going to fare because apparently it volunteered from a past planting and it was never staked properly and is SO full of tomatoes it's collapsing and growing all along the ground. I'm propping it up best I can and I just hope all the tomatoes it's covered in can be harvested. If so this will be my first plant I can have enough to make sauces with and freeze some!!
